My rate for paid projects can depend on a number of factors, including design complexity, location, and scale; whether I need to use a ladder or scaffolding, and the extent of surface preparation required. I will determine the proposed rate after an initial consultation on your project. Typically projects will fall in the range of $15-$20 per sqft.
I am also open to informal trade agreements - if you have something in mind, feel free to ask and maybe we can work out a suitable trade.
I’m based in Tillamook, Oregon. And yes, I am open to travel anywhere in the world! I love to travel, and sharing art is one of my favorite ways to travel to new places and meet new friends.
This is a tough one to answer. Generally speaking, I aim for a turnaround of 2-4 weeks for any design mockup or revision, but I may need more or less time depending on the design complexity, extent of revisions, and other factors. I will provide an estimated timeline for the design process after our initial consultation, however this may need to change as I dive in. Based on past projects, I’ve found that the design process is by far the most unpredictable, because it is such a creative and collaborative process. I know waiting can be the hardest part, so I always commit to providing regular updates while I am in this unpredictable design phase.
The time needed for surface preparation, painting and sealing depends on the scale, location and complexity of your project. On average with past projects, I take 1-2 days preparing the surface, 1-2 weeks painting, and 1 day sealing. Keep in mind that exterior projects will be largely dependent on good, dry weather and so I tend to schedule them in the summer months. Once we have agreed on a final design, I will provide an estimated timeline for execution, and we can schedule the time frame accordingly.
Once we settle on a final design for your project, I’ll typically ask for a materials deposit. The remaining balance will typically be due at project completion.
I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle or CashApp. I currently do not accept credit or debit card payments.
